jehuty4uno
jehuty4uno Hey, before I start working on this order I need to receive the following details:
  • What industry does this order relate to? (optional)

    Art & Design

  • Theme,
    Idea,
    figures.

The book I have written is the 2nd book in a series (The first book is already published). This 2nd book is about the same characters & features 7 little Rock children who came to life in the Magma Chamber of an ancient extinct volcano.
These characters, known as THE ROXPLORERS are nurtured in the Magma Chamber by Lady Harmony (another of the characters) until the time comes when they go to the surface of the Earth where they have individual geology adventures as they search for their rock origins. This second book is about the adventures of GOLDY NUGGET. He will be featured on each of the new drawings along with one or two other characters.
I am attaching a drawing of Goldy Nugget and also a drawing of him with the other characters. It is important that the characters retain their basic appearance in the new art. The names of the 7 Roxplorers are: Obsidian, Big Ruby, Goldy Nugget, Amber, Amy Amethyst, Pearl Girl and Baby Diamond. They are named after the minerals or precious stones they represent.
I am attaching a picture of all the Roxplorers plus a couple of other characters for your viewing. I am also attaching an individual picture of Goldy.
Goldy will be featured in 9 out of 10 of the drawings. Each drawing will picture him in a different situation which I will carefully describe. A few of the drawings will incllude some of the other characters (maximum of 4 characters to a drawing). There is one character who is new that will need to be designed (a young human boy around 9 - 10 years old) and I will send a detailed description of him.

I am enclosing 2 attachments - one shows all of the Roxplorers and Lady Harmony (she is the lady in the red dress with the yin-yang hairdo and the red dress with heart on it.
The other attachment shows a full body view of Goldy standing in a laboratory. This should give you a good idea of Goldy's appearance.

I describe Art 1 for a start and I will send more infomation on other pics needed tomorrow.

    1. This picture shows Goldy in the foreground looking up at a big, fluffy, rainbow colored "thought cloud" which is floating above his head. The words to be printed on the "thought cloud" are:
"You were given the gift of life. Unwrap it and use it well."
    (Lady Harmony's LIFE WISDOM 101 - Lesson #2)

Lady Harmony is also on the 'thought cloud'.
In this picture Goldy is in a difficult situation and is remembering a lesson LadyHarmony taught the Roxplorers when they lived with her in the Magma Chamber.

Here is the information on Art # 2 in the package of 10 that I purchased.

Foreground:
The character, Goldy, is lying on his tummy (stomach) reading a Geology Book. He will be at the bottom of the art.

Background:
A large book page with writing on it forms the background. This enlarged page from the book that Goldy, is reading has writing on it. Goldy (reading the book) is at the bottom of the drawing while the book page with writing is above him.

This is the writing that is on the book page:

Q. What is a rock?

A, A rock is a gift from Mother Earth.

Q. What are rocks made of?

A. Rocks are made of one or more minerals.

Q. How many minerals does gold contain?

A. One

Q.How are minerals and rock resources classified?

A. One way to classify minerals and rocks is to think of them as fitting into one or the other of three groups. The groups are: 1. Metalic Minerals, 2. Industrial Minerals, 3. Precious and Ornamental Stones.

Q. In which group does Gold belong?

A. Gold is metallic. It is also precious, ornamental, and has industrial uses. Therefore gold belongs in all three groups.

Q. Where does Mother Earth hide her mineral treasures?

A. Learning more about Mother Earth's geology will allow her hidden gifts to be discovered.

The size of pages for the art I need are the regular letter size of 8.5 inches by 11 inches. The drawings should be in 300 dpi resolution. The pages may need to be minimized later on so they will fit in the right places in the stories but if they are done as originals in 8.5 x 11 the publisher can work with them.

m

Me

Hi, I am hoping to receive your first draft of Art #1 soon so I can take a look at it and approve it or make suggestions for small changes. Would you please send the art in numerical order (e.g. Art 1, Art 2, Art 3 and so on till art 10 as soon as you complete the initial drawings for them?
I will send the instructions for the rest of the art work (Art 3 - 10 ) one at a time over the next two days. Please feel free to ask any questions if you do not understand the descriptions I send. Thank you. I know package I am buying from you is a large package (consists of 10 pieces of different drawings plus a free cover) so I am a little flexible with the time of completion but I would like to know that the work is started and receive the drawings in a timely manner so it will all be done by the end of the first week in April at the latest. If you can not have it done by then, please let me know. Thank you.
Thank you.

Here is the description of Art 4:

>art illustration # 4 has some similarity to the attachment I sent to you which shows Goldy in the laboratory.

>art illustration # 4 shows Goldy in the laboratory pouring a colored liquid from a test tube into the flask that is shown on the top right hand shelf of the attachment I sent you which shows Goldy in the laboratory.

>In illustration #4, this flask is now sitting on a table in front of Goldy.doing an experiment by pouring different colored liquids from test tubes into the flask. Goldy looks excited and happy as he does the experiment.

> The table has several test tubes lying on it and each test tube has a different color of liquid in it. Some of the test tubes are plugged with stoppers in their ends and others are lying with stoppers removed and liquid spilled out on the table,

>The flask has multicolored bubbles inside it and the multicolored bubbles are floating out of the flask into the air.filling the room (background is these colorful bubbles).

Here is the description of Art #5

> Please draw 3 gargoyle statues.

> The 3 gargoyles are posed on a building.

>For ideas of how gargoyles look, google: "Pictures of Gargoyle's on Buildings" and many choices for viewing gargoyles will come up. You can look at them and then use your imagination for what the 3 gargoyles look like.

>The 3 gargoyles on a building in your illustration are relatives of StinkSpot who is a character in my book. I attach a picture of gargoyles. The 3 gargoyles you draw do not need to look like StinkSpot. They can look quite different as there are many kinds of gargoyles.. The important part is that the 3 you draw are on the building.

PS
I forgot to attach a picture of the chemicals to Art 3 to demonstrate and give you an idea of the colorful liquids on the table so I am attaching it to this letter along with the attachment of StinkSpot the gargoyle in my book.

m

Me

Sorry. I see the StinkSpot picture attachment did not go through. I will try to find another way to attach it.

m

Me

I have now sent you the information for the first 5 illustrations and will send more information for the other 5 illustrations and for the free cover within a few days. I have numbered the illustrations which I would like you to make and hope you can understand the details for each. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you.

m

Hi Jehuty,
Here are the instructions for Art 6 & Art 7:

>Art 6 and Art 7 will be similar to Art 1 and Art 3 in that they will both feature Goldy near the bottom of the illustrations and show Lady Harmony in a thought cloud above Goldy's head that has writing on it.

>The writing on the cloud for Art 6 is:

"All is possible through believing all is possible." (Lady Harmony's LIFE WISDOM 101 - Lesson #3)

~~~
>The writing on the cloud for Art 7 is:
"Everyone yearns to belong, Everyone desires to connect with their kin. Find your tribe." (Lady Harmony's LIFE WISDOM 101 - Lesson #4)
~~~
Please Note:

Although Art 6 and Art 7 are similar, would you please place Goldy and Lady Harmony in a different position and pose in each illustration.

You can let your imagination soar as you do these pieces of art work but please use colors that look beautiful to you.The idea for art work 1, 3, 6 and 7 is that Goldy is remembering the lessons that Lady Harmony taught him and in his minds eye he sees her speaking those words of wisdom.

Thank you!

m

Me

>Goldy is near the bottom of the page (in the foreground)

>I will send the question and answer writing to you in my next email.

Thank you.

m

Me

Hi there,
The sending I sent a few minutes ago completes the description for Art 8.
I noticed after I sent it that I forgot to put a question mark (?) at the end of the first question so would you please put one there.
I am wondering if you have got started on my art work yet? On March 16 you wrote that you would send the first few pieces of art in a few days. It is now March 20 so I am hoping to receive them soon.
Thank you.
Missmerrykins

jehuty4uno

jehuty4uno

Ok I'll put it. And yes. I'll send you after 2 days.

m

Me

Thank you for letting me know. I look forward to receiving the art pieces you are currently doing in two more days. I will send you the instructions for art 9 & art 10 tomorrow. I eagerly look forward to seeing your work and have high confidence it will be excellent.
(it is 11:50 PM on Monday evening here right now) so I am thinking I should receive the art from you on Thursday. Thanks again.

m

Me

Here are the instructions for art #9:

>Illustration #9 BACKGROUND - a pleasant nature scene for the background. It should show a small, rustic log cabin situatated near a river. There is a pile of logs beside the cabin. There are forest trees near the log cabin. These forest trees have pink leaves on them. In the background, beyond the trees are some mountains. One of the mountains is a flat topped mountain indicating it is a sleeping volcano. There are a few birds flying in the sky.

>Illustration #9 FOREGROUND - the smiling head and shoulder pictures of GOLDY and YORT (Probably placing them at the lower right hand side of the picture would look nice but you can choose to place them where you think they look best). Yort is a human boy age 9 years old. He has brown hair and blue eyes and freckles on his nose and cheeks. Just a regular, cute kid. Goldy is much shorter than Yort. He barely comes up to Yort's waist.. If you wish, you could just show the back of Goldy's and Yort's head and shoulders. They would then appear to viewers as if they are looking at the cabin scene with their backs turned toward the viewers. You will know what works best. Thanks!
Missmerrykins

Thanks you.
Note:

m

Me

Sorry. By mistake I sent 2 of the same attachments. They are both the same picture of Opal Butterfly.

Now I have only the cover illustration to send to you but I am thinking you would probably like to wait until illustrations 1 - 10 are completed before you receive the instructions for the cover?

Thank you,

I hope your art muse stays near you as you work on these illustrations. Know you will do a beautiful job for me.

jehuty4uno

jehuty4uno

Hello dear I'm working on your project. Actually I'm a little busy in my semester projects in university. So that's why I'm slow this time. And I'm now working on characters. Once they comes up, then our will much easier. Hope you can understand my situation.

Kind Regards,
Jehuty.

m

Me

Hi Jehuty, It was reassuring to hear you are working on my project. I understand how busy all our lives can be... but to tell the truth, I have been getting somewhat nervous about not receiving any of your drawings since it was today that you said you would send some of the work. I'm wondering if you are going to be able to complete the work and have it all sent to me by the end of the first week in April or before if possible? If you truly feel you can do this, it will be very good. If for some reason you feel you will not be able to do all 10 illustrations and the cover and get them to by April 7, 2017, would you please let me know so that I can make other arrangements.
I am putting my trust in you to meet the time line if you feel you can. Fivver sends me notices that the order is in progress and the expected delivery is March 24 (tomorrow). I realize I will not have the work from you by tomorrow and feel I can be patient for another 14 days till April 7 if need be but I would like to see the work start coming to me one piece at a time right away, so you can make any requested revisions that might be necessary.
I hope you will feel free to be frank and open and tell me if there is a problem so I can have some peace of mind about the illustrations arriving in a timely way. Seeing at least a few of them would build my confidence.
Thank you.
Missmerrykins

jehuty4uno

jehuty4uno

I'll definitely send you any one or two of the illustrations today. And thank you very much for putting trust in me.

You are welcome. I appreciate your forthrightness and look forward to receiving a few of the illustrations. Thank you kindly.

m

Me

Hi, I did not receive the 2 pieces of art you promised to send to me today, Friday, March 24. I realize it is midnight there (your time is 10 hours ahead of our time here) and you are probably sleeping. Please send me the art within the next 12 hours as I would really like to believe in you and trust you. I hope you can understand that I do need to see some progress in the work for without seeing any of the work coming to me, I am growing discouraged with the long delay. Thank you. Missmerrykins

jehuty4uno

jehuty4uno

Your work is processing. Do not take tension. I will complete your work before the deadline you told me, and you will love my work. one more, that trust is the main thing that builds relationship in between any of the two people. So, Kindly do not loose your trust.

And one more thing that if you have any modification in this image, you can ask for it, as you have option for unlimited revisions until you satisfy.

Yours sincerely,
Jehuty.

m

Me

Hi jehuty,
Thank you for your letter and for sending the illustration of Goldy and the thought cloud. Your art is lovely and I like it very much. I am feeling greatly encouraged and my trust in you is refreshed.
The rainbow cloud is beautiful, the writing looks nice, and the expression on Goldy's face is charming.
However, but I would like to see the print in the 3rd line on the cloud made darker so it shows up more clearly.
e.g.
(Lady Harmony's Life Wisdom 101: Lesson #2) - this part needs to be bolded (darker black letters)

After this small revision is made, I will approve the art and send you a tip as an incentive. I also intend to send periodic tips to you as we go along.
Warm regards, Missmerrykins

HERE'S YOUR DELIVERY!

This order will be marked as complete in 3 days.

m

Me

I am now pleased with the darker print and verbally approve of the first piece of art which you just sent. I also realized that when the inkspot stamped over the art is removed, the writing will show up more clearly.

I intend to send you a $5.00 tip each time you complete one of the pieces of art in a timely fashion. This will give you an additional $50.00 for 10 illustrations and I will also send the $5.00 tip for the free cover which will make the total tip to you $55.00.

I just finished writing to Fivver asking them if I can send the tip each time I receive a piece of art or if I must wait until the entire package is completed before I send the tip?

I also have inquired of Fivver if I should approve each piece of art as it arrives or if I must wait until I receive the entire package and then approve all 10 plus the cover at the same time so that the entire funds I have placed in escrow with Fivver plus the total tip I am designating to you, can be released to you at that time.

I expect to hear back from Fivver in the near future and as soon as I do, I will let you know.

You are so right about the issue of trust. We must both trust each other... I must trust you to deliver satisfactory work in the time we agreed upon, and you must trust me to approve of each drawing and pay you on fivver both your fee plus the tips. I feel we now have a good working relationship and I feel confident the outcome will be very positive.

I am eager to receive the next drawings as you complete them.

Thanks so very much. Best regards, Missmerrykins

jehuty4uno

jehuty4uno

If you want to give me tip of $5. I have a solution of it. You can place order of $5 on my gigs so now this way, you can give me tips.

Kind Regards,
Jehuty.

m

Me

Hi Jehuty,
Thank you. I will now send you your 1st tip for the 1st approved illustration you provided me with and will send the tips each time I receive an illustration and approve it.

I heard back from the Fivver help person and he instructed me that there is a only a 13 day extension allowed to get all the work done and completed so that will mean you must complete the work and get it to me with the by
April 5. He instructed that I can then approve and accept the entire package of 10 plus the cover and the entire funds for the package will immediately be released to you.

Trust this is agreeable to you.

Thank you. Missmerrykins

Hello Jehuty,
I am hoping you are making good progress with my order. How many of the 10 illustrations have you finished now? Please send them to me so I can see if they need revision. Time passes very quickly and I need to know you are making progress. Please get in touch with me to let me know what is happening.
Thank you.

Ok. I'll send it to you. But after sometime now I'm far from my laptop. Kind Regards,
Jehuty.

m

Me

Hello Jehuty,
The answer you sent to me in your most recent letter is unsatisfactory to me. I do not know what 'after sometime' means? You did not tell me how long you will be away from your lap top... is it for two days, four days, six days or even longer? I know this is a large order but when you reply in an elusive manner it makes me nervous and I am wondering why you do this? If the job is too big for you and you are feeling overwhelmed by it, please inform me and I will find someone else to do it. If things do not improve quickly, I am seriously considering canceling my order with you and starting all over with someone else. I work hard for my money and I feel I can rightly expect to have good service. I hope I do not have to cancel because I like the looks of your work, but I will move on to another artist if I must. Please respond to this letter quickly.
Thank you.

Hi Jehuty,
On March 30 you promised to send some of the art today and over 24 hours have passed and I have not received anything from you. Here in Canada each day has 24 hours in it. Is not this the same in Pakistan? Where is the art you promised to send "today"?

I was disappointed that you reply to my letter was to say there are others in queue, especially since I placed my order with you on March 14. Your advertisement said you could do this art in 10 days and the date went was up on March 24, however I was prepared to wait longer but now 7 more days have passed and at my urging you have only sent two drawings out of 10 plus the promised free cover. I am not satisfied with the second drawing you sent as it needs several revisions: e.g. Goldy's nose should be placed at the edge of his face, not directly under his one eye that is showing. Also his feet are pointing up instead of down. Although I am not computer wise, I am a bit of an artist myself and I recognized these mistakes immediately. Because of the delays and because of the others in queue which indicates the heavy load you have currently plus your studies, I feel the only thing that is fair to both of us to do is for me to cancel this order. So I am proceeding to do so. I hope that in the future you will consider the stress caused to your clients when you take on too much and become backlogged with too much to do within a requested and advertised timeline. Sincerely, Missmerrykins
